Terms of Service — Aneslate

1. Intended Use

Aneslate is a real-time translation tool intended for use by healthcare professionals. It is not a certified interpretation service and should not be used where such services are legally required.

2. No Account Required

Aneslate does not require login, registration, or the creation of any personal profile.

3. Local-Only Storage

• All translations occur in real time.
• No content is stored or transmitted by Aneslate.
• If transcripts are saved, they are retained only on your device, and never synced to iCloud or any cloud provider.
• By copying, exporting, or using any transcript containing PHI, you explicitly accept full responsibility for handling that information in accordance with all applicable HIPAA requirements.

4. HIPAA Compliance

Aneslate is built to support HIPAA compliance through responsible design and contractual protections with infrastructure partners. However, you—as the user—are solely responsible for:

• The security of your device
• Appropriate clinical use of translation output
• Compliance with institutional policies, federal regulations, and patient consent laws

5. Payments

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Anescribe does not collect or store payment information.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anescribe, LLC and its affiliates, directors, officers, and contractors from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of Aneslate
• Any breach of these terms
• Any violation of HIPAA or local data protection laws
• Any adverse clinical outcome, malpractice claim, or administrative investigation arising from reliance on Aneslate

7. Limitations of Liability

Anescribe, LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding translation accuracy, medical appropriateness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for verifying and applying all outputs in clinical contexts. Aneslate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anescribe, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, including loss or corruption of PHI, arising out of your use of Aneslate. In all events, for any type of claim, liability, or obligation whatsoever, Anescribe, LLC’s cumulative liability shall not exceed the purchase cost paid by a Paid User.

In the event of dissatisfaction or dispute, Anescribe, LLC’s total liability is strictly limited to the amount you paid for your most recent subscription period. We are not responsible for any consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including but not limited to malpractice claims, patient harm, or regulatory penalties.

8. Updates

We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use of Aneslate after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
